Fishery will re-open Monday 12th April 2021 (subject to no change by government)
Please take time to read the following. If you do not want to abide by the rules, please do not come on site.
Please DO NOT come on site if you have COVID symptoms or are meant to be isolating. Your booked fishing session can be rescheduled for another time.
Anglers entering the site, MUST CLOSE THE FISHERY GATE. It will be unlocked from 7.30am to 7.30pm, however it’s really important to keep it closed by hooking the chain on the gate. We do not want people accessing the fishery that haven’t booked on.
We will be limiting numbers of anglers on site so that people feel safe and can keep the 2 metre social distance rule.
A total of 8 anglers will be allowed on No.2 Lake per day and a total of 15 anglers on the bankside swims of the Day Ticket Lake, with the addition of the Island swim, peg 32 (nature reserve swim) and Peg 1A being booked.
Anyone wishing to fish (this includes if you have a season ticket on either lake) have to book. Please do not just turn up and expect to fish, you will not be allowed on site.
Only people fishing will be allowed on site, meaning no visitors and no looking around the lakes.
Please do not bring children on site unless they are booked to fish. They must be 11 years plus to fish and accompanied by an adult up to 16 years old.
You can book by:
emailing: enquiries@catch22fishingcentre.co.uk
Facebook messenger
or phoning us: 07753 853208 or 01603 872948.
Sessions will come on a first come first served basis.
Payment for sessions are to be paid in full in on booking. This can be done by paying by bank transfer (please let us know if you require bank details for this) or by credit/debit card over the phone. During the COVID pandemic we will not be accepting cash.
Bookings will be for sessions only and not for peg numbers/names. Please use your common sense when selecting a peg so that you keep your distance from people. We are lucky that the majority of swims are a good distance from one another, however please respect people’s space.
Cancelling your booking:
Please advise us by phone, email or facebook messenger if you need to cancel your booking. Your booking will be transferred to an alternative date. Please note cancellations made in 48 hours or less than your booking or if you don't advise us of your cancellation will not be transferred.
If your booking has to be cancelled due to a lockdown, your postcode being put into a Tier 3 Very High Level or Tier 4 Stay at Home Level or the Catch 22 postcode being put into Tier 3/ Tier 4, your booking will be transferred to a later date.
Season Ticket Holders will have their tickets extended to the length of time the fishery has to be closed due to COVID regulations.
General:
If you are 'marking up', please do this directly behind or on your swim, not along the path . This gives people room to pass your swim without worrying about being close to other people.
Do not stand on pathways to socialise. Please respect people’s space and remember the 2 metre distance rule.
‘Double swims’ can be used by a single angler, by an adult and junior (aged 11 - 16) from the same household, two people from the same household or friends that keep the 2 metre distance between them .
Outside toilets will be open around the lakes. Please bring your own toilet roll to use. Please do not use wet wipes, industrial paper or kitchen roll, as they block the toilet. Please keep the toilet and toilet area clean and use the spray to put on the toilet seat, toilet handle and door handle after use. We will keep the toilets as clean as we can, however we require your input to keep the virus at bay.
There will be no bins around the lakes, so rubbish is to be disposed in the two large bins situated at the end of the drive to the entrance to the fishery. Please bag your litter up accordingly in a tied bag and do not chuck elsewhere on site.
High contact areas i.e. gate latches will be sprayed and disinfected on a regular basis by a member of staff. It would be a good idea for you to personally use a handsoap or sanitiser upon entry and when leaving the fishery.
Hand sanitiser is located near the gate that takes you to the lakes and inside the outdoor toilet area.
When dipping and rinsing your weighing equipment please use the 2 metre rule if there is someone in front of you using the tanks.
Please bring your own barrow as we will not be supplying the quad service or have barrows for you to borrow. We will not be taking people's trailers around with the quad either.
Indoor toilets, showers, café and shop will be closed until further notice.
If you have the island or nature reserve booked, we will leave it at your discretion to spray the lifejackets we provide with an anti-virus spray. Or you are welcome to bring and wear your own. However what ever you decide to do please ensure that you wear a lifejacket when you are in the boat.
Bait/tackle can be ordered with your booking or from our online store . This is to be paid for in full and your order will be left outside the main building for collection.
These safety measures may change at short notice depending on the progression of the COVID-19 virus or on government advice.
