General

No leaving rods unattended.

Please do not leave your rods to be looked after by someone else if you nip to the toilet/ go to the shop as their EA license probably won't cover for them to be fishing with your rods.

No wading in either of the lakes. There are sharp drop offs in places and silty areas that you'd sink in to.

No litter. We provide bins for your rubbish around the complex. If you require a bin bag please ask at the fishery shop. Please cut up used line into lengths and discard in bins.

No cutting back vegetation without permission.

No destruction of any nests, removal of any eggs or interference with any waterfowl or other wildlife.

No pressurised or bright lamps.

No boats or bait boats.

No generators.

No drones.

No fires.

BBQ's are allowed. They must be placed above the ground so ground isn't scorched. Please do not tip ashes onto the ground and do not put hot ashes in the bins. If we experience a dry summer then a temporary ban may be put on BBQ's if there is a fire risk.

No excess alcohol.

No drugs.

No swimming.

No laser pens.

No fireworks.

No dogs.

Anyone trying to remove fish from the Catch 22 Fishing Centre will be prosecuted. We operate 24 hour surveillance.

No transferring fish between the two lakes.

No killing fish.

No fish, fish eggs or aquatic vegetation to be brought on to the Catch 22 Fishing Centre under any circumstance.

Catch 22 Fishing Centre reserves the right to refuse season ticket membership or issue of day tickets at it's absolute discretion.

Issue of a season ticket or day ticket confirms a right to fish only for the named holder of that ticket. A ticket cannot be passed on to another person.

All anglers should be in possession of a valid EA license to cover the number of rods they're fishing with.

Weather conditions and subsequent events such flooding and freezing are natural occurrences beyond the control of Catch 22 Fishing Centre and as such no refund will be payable or future discount be provided by Catch 22 Fishing Centre for periods when the lakes are unfishable. This applies to all permits and season tickets issued on both lakes.

Security

We lock the  fishery gate every night. If you are leaving in the evening, please ensure that you are ready to leave before the gate is locked, so it can be shut on time. Please do not park outside the locked gate and then access the fishery by other means. If this happens it will be treated as trespass.

We have security cameras placed around the fishery and your visit will be recorded.

No.2 Lake

The above rules apply, plus the following:

Maximum of one week's stay on a swim.

No casting across to other swims even when vacant. On 'Split' you can cast to the edge of the lilies.

Island Swim/ Nature Reserve Swim (Peg 32)

Maximum of 2 people on either swim. This can either be 2 anglers per swim or 1 angler and 1 non angler.

Both of these swims are bookable in advance. Please contact the fishery shop on 01603  872948 for available dates.

We provide the boats to get to these swims and also the lifejackets which are to be worn when you are in the boats.
